The Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario (HRPAO) is the premier HR association in Canada and is internationally recognized and sought out for its knowledge, innovation and leadership. With over 16,000 members in 28 chapters in Ontario, and other locations around the world, HRPAO grants the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation, the national standard for excellence in human resources management. Those who attain the designation meet high levels of expertise and competency in all areas of human resources management.
The Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CAMC) promotes a professional community of management consultants where members can exchange ideas and share experiences. The CAMC focuses its efforts on promoting excellence and integrity in Management Consulting. The Association administers the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation in Canada, and actively promotes it to the client community. Members who choose to pursue the CMC have made a commitment to enhancing their skills to the highest level.
The Commonwealth Association of Public Administration and Management (CAPAM) is an international association of senior public sector practitioners who seek opportunities for professional networking and learning, to improve their capacity to provide excellent public service. CAPAM programmes strengthen the quality and effectiveness of public administration and advance good governance in Commonwealth countries.
The mission of SID Ottawa-Gatineau is to provide a forum for knowledge sharing on issues of development, globalization and human security. They achieve this by providing a network for individuals working in international development, globalization and human security and by providing leading researchers and practitioners the opportunity to address and present pioneering analysis and policy initiatives on SID related themes.
